A clear path to your domain.

1. Find the right name

Search a keyword or full domain name. We check availability through our domain provider and show alternative extensions. Only supported domains with confirmed availability and configured pricing can be added to your cart. Search results do not reserve a domain.

2. Create your account and review

Add your selections to the cart and continue. Sign in or create an account, complete email verification, and provide accurate registrant and billing details. Your selections are saved on your device while you complete these steps. Review the registration period and order summary before payment.

3. Pay securely

The checkout shows the final amount, currency, and available payment methods. Card and eligible Link payments are processed by Stripe. If you use your DIGIHOST Balance, the required balance is displayed before you confirm. A pending or failed payment does not complete your order.

4. Activate after registration

After payment is confirmed, our team processes registration. A paid order is not yet an active domain. When registration is complete, we send activation instructions to the email on your order. Sign in to the same account and redeem the activation code on the Domains page. Contact support if registration cannot be completed.

5. Connect your website with DNS

Once activated, your domain appears in your dashboard. Add or edit supported DNS records to connect a website, email, or verification service. Use the values supplied by your hosting or email provider. DNS changes can take time to become visible. Review records carefully to avoid interrupting existing services.

6. Keep track of renewals

Check the expiry date in your dashboard and review renewal pricing before the domain expires. A reminder preference is not a completed renewal. Registration periods, renewal availability, transfer rules, and recovery options depend on the domain extension and registrar.

A question along the way?

Your account keeps support tickets and conversations alongside your orders. Include your order reference when asking about payment or activation. Never send passwords, payment card details, or authenticator codes.
