Cookie & Local Storage Policy

The storage and security technology used by this release of DIGIHOST.

Account sessions

The customer and administrator portals use separate host-scoped session cookies for authentication. Production cookies use Secure and HttpOnly protections and a SameSite setting. Session validity is also checked by the server. Signing out invalidates the current session; browser controls can remove the cookie.

Cart continuity

The public website stores your selected domain names and registration periods locally in your browser. When you continue to the customer portal, those selections are transferred in a URL fragment and stored temporarily on that origin while you sign in or verify your email. The pending transfer expires after 24 hours and is cleared after successful import. Cart data does not include passwords or payment credentials.

Preferences and security verification

Browser storage may preserve display preferences and application state. Cloudflare Turnstile on customer sign-in and registration evaluates security signals to help distinguish people from automated abuse. Stripe and Link use their own cookies or storage on their checkout and account pages under their policies.

Analytics and advertising

This public-site release does not install optional advertising pixels or marketing analytics. If optional tracking is introduced, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before it is enabled. Necessary security and operational processing still occurs as described in the Privacy Policy.

Your controls

You can delete local site data or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in, cart handoff, or payment completion. Removing browser storage does not delete your server-side account, confirmed orders, or registered domains.
